SEPTEMBER 2007


September is a momentous month as Saturn moves out of Leo and into Virgo on the 2nd. Remember that Saturn moved into Leo in July of 2005 causing Leo to deal with situations that felt very limiting. Many Leos lost weight because they took responsibility for what they put in their mouth. Others stepped up to tests and many sought better jobs. It has been a tough couple of years, but Leo is better off in life due to the trials and tribulations of the past two years.

Virgo is not such a bad place for Saturn to transit. While he is there from September 2 to October 29, 2009 we will see a realignment of a good portion of health care professions. Nursing will be going through a transformation as will issues surrounding our diets and the food supply. The grocery distribution system will undergo changes and many grocers or food companies will merge. We can expect healthcare and health care agencies to go under further fire which should bring us closer to an equitable healthcare system. The politicizing of healthcare is sure to be scrutinized. Animal welfare will be on many of our minds as activists demand concessions from those who have harmed animals in the name of research. Our gadgets and devices we use in daily life become even more combined. Who knows you may even be able to download music to the coffee pot.

Virgos will be most affected by this transit as they have reached a peak of a cycle that began in January of 1994. That which began at that time is now peaking and ready to be rearranged. Those who have done the work get payoffs. Those who have not done their work get karmic paybacks and we all know that is no fun. Over the next two years Virgo must refine and endure restrictions. Those who play the Saturn game responsibly emerge leaner and wiser for their trials once Saturn exits Virgo in November 2009.

Kicking off this Saturn transit is the new Moon eclipse September 11 at 7:44 AM CDT. On September 11, 1988 an eclipse occurred at the same position kicking off a nineteen year cycle. Consider how life has changed for you over the last nineteen years. Similar beginnings start again and proceed over the next nineteen years. Since the new Moon is in barren Virgo we will turn more toward conservation years to come. Better ways to cultivate fruits and vegetables are on the horizon. Many of us will be starting neighborhood gardens or just shopping at the local farmers market for home grown products. On this particular day the new Moon will be square Mars so we can expect future efforts to be valiant and innovative.

If that is all not enough Pluto; retrograde since March 31 moves forward September 7. Pluto is currently crossing the galactic center. Since this is all happening in worldly Sagittarius our consciousness regarding our fellow earthlings is back on the track of change. Our separatist beliefs and differences are melting so that we can get along better with those of other cultures and belief systems. The process has been slow but we are truly headed for a reformation.

Venus, retrograde since late July, moves forward September 8.While Venus was retrograde we were rethinking our relationships and how we express our affections. Some relationships have had to be put on the back burner while others have had to end. Relations of all sorts are now easier and bygones can be bygones. Make contact with that person you alienated and buy him/her dinner.

During the week of September 17 the Sun in Virgo is square Pluto while Mars is opposite Pluto. This forms a triangle in the zodiac between Mars in Gemini, the Sun in Virgo and Pluto plugging along in Sagittarius. Mutable signs Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are most affected but we will all experience frustrations somewhere in our lives. Many of us will want to coerce others to our way of thinking. This intense formation is sure to bring upsets and anxiety over changes that are taking place in our personal status quo. Since Venus is opposite Neptune on the 21st there will be tales told to make and point and sway opinion polls. Do not believe facts you do not know to be true. Let go of fear and grab onto a bit of persistence. That is the way to come out smelling like a rose as we are on the brink of major changes that will be written in future textbooks.

September 2 Mercury, in Virgo is ninety degrees from Pluto sitting still in Sagittarius. Over the next few days many of us will scramble to have it our way. Big deals are made out of minor infractions. Avoid giving a hard sell and be ready to receive information you do not necessarily want to know.

September 3 Mars in Gemini is ninety degrees from Uranus in Pisces. This is an explosive aspect that can cause upsets and accidents. Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius are smart to use caution when traveling. Watch your words so as not to cause problems for yourself or others. By all means turn off the car and put out that cigarette while fueling any vehicle. Venus sextile Mars lends us some fun and frolic as long we stay within the bounds of what is appropriate.

Over in Leo the Sun is ninety degrees from Jupiter in Sagittarius. Jupiter loves to accumulate goodies. This is no time to overspend. Even though every thing seems rosy; overconfidence will be the undoing of some of us. Consider doing good works for others, but pass on the expensive sparkly stuff.

September 5 Mercury enters Libra until September 27. Libra is about law and farness. Our thoughts will turn to doing what is right. Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini are even tempered. Aries, Capricorn, and Cancer will rock the boat unless they can take life in stride.

September 8 Mars in Gemini is one hundred twenty degrees from Neptune in Aquarius. If you want something accomplished use exacting words in a memo.Gemini, Aquarius, and Libra do well be help out someone in need.

September 13 Mercury, now is Libra, is sixty degrees from Jupiter in Sagittarius. Those who expand their mind or make travel planes could not have picked a better day for these activities. Life is good for Sagittarius, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

September 17 The Sun in Virgo is ninety degrees from Mars in Gemini. This aspect provides a massive amount of energy to get a lot accomplished or be really angry. Virgo is jazzed up and Gemini will be noted for those words that hurt and or help. Accidents are set to occur.

Mercury in Libra is sixty degrees from Venus in Leo. Leo and Libra can enjoy this day with leisure activities such as a day at the spa or a drive in the country.

September 18 Mercury is one hundred twenty degrees from Neptune in Aquarius. Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini are feeling highly creative and idealistic. This mellow energy is a far cry from the way Gemini was feeling a couple of days back. Put off those reports and financial statements for a few days. Meanwhile, look at books that have more pictures than words. A trip to the ballet or museum is most enjoyable.

September 23 The Sun enters Libra at 4:52 AM CDT. This is the beginning of fall. Now through October 23 Libra is at the peak of their year. This is a positive time of year for Gemini and Aquarius. Many of us, including Capricorn, Aries and Cancer are scrambling to prepare for the cold weather as well as end of the year festivities.

September 24 Mars, still in Gemini, is sixty degrees from Pluto in Sagittarius. Get clear on plans and schemes that need an adjustment. Those who act impulsively miss out on future rewards.

September 26 The full Moon occurs in Aries at 2:45 PM CDT. Aries is the sign that takes the bull by the horns and gets any job done. This first full Moon of autumn is telling us to harvest the garden and wind up projects started during the spring and summer. Some us, certainly Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn must use this energetic full Moon wisely so as to avoid accidents and arguments. Walk the line between pushing too hard and going with the flow.

Mercury is one hundred twenty degrees from Mars. Make a point with direct intent and it will be received well. Anything said between 7:31 AM CDT and 9:22 AM will be taken with a grain of salt. Give bad news during that time.

September 27 Mercury enters Scorpio until October 23. Scorpio likes to keep things under the table so we can expect lots of talk to take place behind closed doors. All of us will notice that at sometime people will stop talking when we enter the room. Mercury can be mean in Scorpio so get ready for harsh words. Taurus is sure to bear the brunt of unexpected insults. Aquarius and Leo must choose their words carefully so as not to get caught in lies or gossip.

September 28 Mars enters Cancer until December 31. Somewhere rain or other manifestations of water will occur with a vengeance. Cancer is highly energized. Many crabs will be out of sorts. Crabs and compulsive behavior are synonomous for those who are not conscious of their actions. Capricorn is sure to be yelled at by one or more person while Aries is tired. Libra has decisions to make and that alone is enough to rock their scales out of balance.

September 30 Mercury in Scorpio is sixty degrees from Saturn now in Virgo. Plan the minor details for a joint endeavor. Keep those plans under wraps in order to insure success.

Virgo, Aug 23 - Sep 22
 This is a big month for Virgo as you begin to restructure your life over the next two years. Take actions that lead to life goals. Karma, good or bad, puts Virgo through the paces. Those most affected at this time are those born in the last week of August. All Virgos are very busy with work and are making big decisions about both career and family matters. Look to what you have to offer the world in terms of talent and then go from there. Mid month requires Virgo to grow up and allow life to lead you in new directions.
