June 2025

Establishing A Secure Foundation In A World That is Changing

June brings more revelations of corruption worldwide. As we wake up to what is going on behind the scenes, we are compelled to make plans and take action to maintain our individual and collective well-being.

Saturn has now been in Aries since May 24. Saturn in Aries brings a reset to our lives along with changes to society. Saturn moving through Aries has coincided with the ending of wars, but that is not a sure thing.

Listed below are just a few events that have occurred the last time Saturn moved through Aries.

Hotmail, one of the first web-based email services was launched.

Osama bin Laden declared war on the United States.

A magnitude 6.5-6.8 earthquake struck Mexico.

Welfare reform was signed into law in the United States.

Fox net news was launched.

The Spice Girls launched their first album.

Saturn in Aries brings a restructuring of life to all Aries natives. It also brings a restructuring of life for Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, while it brings a smoothing out and refinement of life for Leo and Sagittarius.

Remember that Saturn will back out of Aries September 1, 2025 and re-enter Aries February 15, 2026, for an uninterrupted transit through Aries until 2028.

Also remember that Saturn and Neptune will be closely aligned but not quite conjunct until that finally happens February 20, 2026. As I've mentioned before, when Saturn and Neptune conjunct at 0° Aries in 2026 it will be the first time ever that they have been in conjunction at the 0° mark of Aries. That is the beginning of the zodiac, so this is a really big deal that we are preparing for, but we still have some unfinished business while Saturn and Neptune both back into Pisces.

The cycle of Saturn and Neptune wherein they connect in the same sign at the same degrees happens every thirty six years. The last time this occurred the Berlin Wall fell and many communist countries also fell. Other events influenced by a Saturn/Neptune conjunction include the beginning of socialist political parties in Europe (1879-83), the revolt of the American colonists(1773-75) and the uprising of the Spanish colonies in Latin America 1810. Surely, you can see a trend.

Saturn and Neptune transiting so close to one another until the final conjunction still brings much change and completion for many of us. This brings us to dreaming a new dream of our life. Some of us will be coming into a new purpose, a new career, a new place to live, and even new relationships. This is part of the restructuring of society that is upon us. It is already happening, but it is not complete.

Additionally, Saturn and Neptune in Aries are now beginning to form a 60° angle to Pluto in Aquarius. Saturn and Neptune together bring a restructuring of society. More lies will be exposed, and our idealism will be tested. Many people will have a personal identity crisis. There will be overhauls to outdated institutions while grassroots movements challenge the power structures that are now in place. Rest assured, there be a collective challenge to political structures that no longer serve the people of the world. Individual countries versus global cooperation will have to be addressed as a result of Saturn and Neptune sextile Pluto. Neptune and Pluto alone are creating a shift in consciousness that began in the late 1940s. Most, but not all of us are alive at this time to lend a helping hand with the human evolution.

June 4-5

Meanwhile, during the first few days of this month, Venus in Aries is 60° away from Jupiter in the final degrees of Gemini. This is a lucky spot during all the tension we are experiencing. This is a time of blessings and joyful connections. Many of us will form new relationships and generally have a good time. Do avoid making too many trips to the dessert bar or any other bar for that matter.

At the same time Mercury in Gemini is 60° away from Mars in Leo, adding to our charisma and ability to shine when relating to other people, especially in romantic situations, teamwork projects, or launching plans.

Venus moves through Taurus June 5 to July 4. Venus likes to be in Taurus because Venus rules Taurus. This is a time of focusing on what makes us comfy and cozy. Many of us will slow down our pursuit of love in lieu of finding a quality match versus a quick fix. Others of us will begin to lay a financial foundation.

June 8-11

Mercury, about the move into Cancer, moves across Jupiter June 8. This brings some completions to stories or projects that we have had in play, but it also brings some really big fish stories.

Right after crossing Jupiter, Mercury moves into Cancer. Our thoughts focus on our security. Conversations are more personal and intimate. We will slow our thought processes and employ caution before making a decision. Some of us are going to overthink, some of us will be moody. Our thinking should be based on emotion and our intuition versus logic. This is especially true for Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The rest of us may think we have our wires crossed but make note of those feelings.

Just two days before the full Moon in Sagittarius, Mercury is square Saturn and Venus is square Pluto in Aquarius. Many of us will have difficulty expressing ourselves. Don't listen to that inner critic or for that matter critics that come from outside of yourself. This could be a time of negative thinking. Venus and Pluto can bring jealousy, insecurities, and emotions that we have tried to stifle. Calm turbulent emotions before taking rash action. Avoid drama and dramatic people.

Jupiter

Jupiter moves through Cancer May 9 until June 30, 2026. Jupiter loves to be in Cancer. In astrology we say that Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Jupiter's opportunities, optimism, and abundance are especially effective in this sign. Many of us will strengthen our family bonds, make home improvements, and experience a growth in our independence while Jupiter moves through Cancer. Personal security is very important.

Once Jupiter is in Cancer, this faster moving planet begins to form a 90° angle to Saturn and Neptune as well as an odd 150° angle to Pluto. This brings a challenge between our need to hopeful with the reality of what is really happening. At the same time we will see people in charge reach for more power prompting a backlash from the masses across the planet.

While Jupiter was square Saturn in 2024, we experienced economic volatility. Some people call that a correction phase. We are correcting our lives and economies will come down to earth and reality.

Remember that Saturn does not like to be in Aries. Saturn stifles the growth of Jupiter. In the weeks up to the middle of June, we are tasked with cultivating optimism knowing that the difficulties we have will pass. We must balance our emotions with the action we are ready to take. This is a time of learning to be resilient among the societal and personal changes we are all experiencing.

Jupiter last moved through Cancer June 27, 2013 to July 16, 2014. What were you doing then?

The full Moon June 11 at 20 degrees Sagittarius at 2:44 am CDT

This is the first full Moon we're experiencing during the current transit of Jupiter through Cancer.

This full Moon is square the lunar nodes. The geometry of this full Moon creates some a crisis where we have to make a decision right now. Those decisions can change the path of our lives. At the same time, Jupiter has just entered Cancer and is square to Saturn and Neptune, creating situations wherein we must make wise choices based on logic and how we feel.

At the same time as this full Moon, Mercury in Cancer is forming a 150° angle to Pluto in Aquarius. This adds to events that are cause for us to make important decisions or adjustments. Important conversations shine a light on that which is not true or needs to be resolved. This is a great time for problem-solving, though many of us will be exhausted from so much talk and thought. Avoid power struggles and manipulation during this full Moon. Avoid gossip and leave the scheming to those who have no other resources other than to scheme. There will be lots of news about health care systems and welfare of the people at this full Moon.

Luckily, Mercury in Cancer is sextile Venus in Taurus. This lightens up the intensity of this full Moon. Bring your affectionate loving self to any conversation or social event. This is a good time to do something artistic.

June
15 -19

Jupiter has reached the peak of its square between Saturn and Neptune in Aries bringing corrections of all sorts.

At this time, Mars in Leo is square Uranus in Taurus, which brings volatility, accidents, and explosions of many sorts. Hopefully, more violence will not erupt. Uranus is still pretty close to the demon star Algol. This has the potential to be the most volatile time of June. Shocking actions take place on the world stage and for many of us in our personal lives. This is especially true for Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, or Leo.

Use caution in the days leading up to June 15. Have a plan B in place in case of power outages and delays to travel.

Once Mars finishes with the explosive news and shocking situations it brings to us, it moves into Virgo June 17 and transits there until August 6.

While Mars moves through Virgo, many of us are working to be more precise and improve our abilities to accomplish tasks. We will address details that have been lost in the shuffle. Efficiency will be very important to us. Many of us will address our health, our ability to organize, and our plans of action. We must be careful that we do not evolve into criticism, impatience, or frustration. Mars in Virgo is a great time to improve our productivity, our efficiency, and the status of our health.

While Mars moves through Virgo, this sign is extra active while Capricorn and Taurus are able to handle life as it comes towards them. This transit is more difficult for Sagittarius, Pisces, and Gemini as these signs must address unexpected events and foul behavior from other people. They can also get a lot done by handling the challenges with grace.

Summer solstice June 20 at 9:42 pm CDT

This is the point in the year when the Sun moves into Cancer. Summer has begun. It's the longest day of the year, and we are compelled to spend time with our loved ones barbecuing in the backyard and seeking security with those we enjoy and love. While the Sun moves through Cancer until July 22, we honor the traditions of our life, our feelings, and even the moodiness which we sometimes feel when the Sun moves through Cancer.

June 22-24

Right after the summer solstice, Mars in Virgo is sextile Jupiter in Cancer. This positive event fuels our capacity to make wise decisions and take action that leads to positive outcomes.

The Sun is square Saturn and Neptune while crossing Jupiter at the same time. This augments the aspects between Jupiter and Saturn and Neptune. This transit compels us to accept changes due to the new world that is emerging.

The new Moon June 25 at 5:32 am CDT in Cancer
at 4 degrees

The new Moon is conjunct Jupiter and sextile Mars. Mercury in Cancer is sextile Uranus; meaning that this new Moon has an extra punch due to other planetary influences. Since this new Moon is in Cancer, we are concerned with taking steps that ensure our well being as well as renewing familial relationships. Reconnecting with the foundation of our life allows us to manifest talents and powers using those energies to grow more content. Innovation is an important key to achieving our new Moon wishes.

Due to the square that this new Moon forms to the Saturn /Neptune conjunction, there is an element of uncertainty that pushes us to make plans to create a better life. This is a very positive new Moon, so make wise plans that propel you towards your hopes and dreams.

Mercury moves into Leo June 26 until September 2. Leo is an outspoken sign and therefore we can expect bold messages, news, and ideas. Speak from the heart during this time. Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius are easily able to share their ideas and get their points across to their audience. Others will shock us with their incoherent rambling.

Right after Mercury moves into Leo, Mercury is harmoniously angling Saturn and Neptune. This angle from Mercury to Neptune and Saturn brings inspiring words and the ability for us to bring our dreams into reality. This is one of those times when new leaders reveal strengths and courage through their words and actions. We are able to take new and, in some cases, innovative steps to face our future.

However, at the same time, Mercury is opposite Pluto, bringing more revelations of corruption and shifts in our perspective, collectively and individually. These revelations and shifts in awareness drive us to make important decisions. This late-in-the-month aspect very well may create events that influence our future. This is a big ending to this month to what can be a volatile life changing time. Buckle your seat belts.

June 30 is th e day that we enter the shadow of the next Mercury retrograde period that begins July 17. Many of us will be gob smacked by the events of the final days of June, but these events will show us how we need to change our lives moving forward. Stay safe and know that we are all in the same boat across the planet.
